Weston is an attractive Links Course situated at the southern end of Weston-Super-Mare Bay, with superb views across the Bristol Channel. The golf course at Weston dates back to 1892 with the great golf course designer Dr. Alistair Mackenzie, famous for The Masters at the Augusta National USA, adding to Weston splendour in 1922 with the course design you play today. Our signature hole is the 15th, a 458 yard par 4, which is reputedly modelled on the 17th at St. Andrews Old Course. The course is an easy walk, with generous fairways but the wind often plays a decisive role in making a good score on this challenging par 70 course. Sandy soil means play is from medal tees all year round, with temporary greens a rarity. The course offers an enjoyable round and will challenge the ability of all levels of golfer. The Club is situated within easy reach of Junctions 21 and 22 of the M5 motorway and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere where golfers can enjoy the course, but also enjoy the surroundings of the 100 year old Clubhouse.
