Knowle is a delightful
course, set in 100 acres of undulating parkland
with mature trees lining many fairways to
provide an excellent test of golf to players of
all handicaps. Although renowned for the quality
of it’s fairways and greens, the Club does not
rest on it’s laurels but continues to invest
heavily in a rolling development programme to
upgrade and improve the layout of bunkers and
teeing areas to ensure the effects of modern
technology on clubs and balls do not obselete
the original design of J.H. Taylor.
With superb views over Bristol and North
Somerset the memory of the final few holes
leaves a desire on most golfers to make an early
return to Bristol’s premier parkland course
coupled with the enjoyment of the unique
friendly atmosphere and excellent catering in
the Clubhouse.
